| Meditech Clinical Analyst We are currently seeking a Meditech Clinical Analyst to join our team. This team member serves as the day-to-day contact person for the MEDITECH Application Specialists during the installation phase and for ongoing maintenance thereafter. Included in the day-to-day responsibilities of this multi-faceted position are: Keep the Director of Information Services/Project Manager informed of all events affecting the timely installation of clinical modules. Oversees, and when necessary, assists in accomplishing the activities and responsibilities of the application Coordinators (Core Team Leaders) assigned within each clinical department. Identify and assist in the resolution of issues arising in the clinical modules and issues that overlap the clinical departments relating to the setup and operation of the hospital information system Organize and conduct periodic interdepartmental meetings between clinical departments to provide a forum for raising new issues and resolving old ones relating to the information system. Work with the Financial/Other information Systems Analyst(s) and Director of Information Services/Project Manager to assure that a consistent approach is followed throughout the installation Review all custom programming and enhancement requests for appropriateness and completeness that are submitted by the department Application Coordinators to determine appropriate action. Document, track and follow up on all reported problems, enhancements requests, and system change requests for the clinical modules. Test or oversee the testing of all software updates/new releases for the clinical modules Actively involved with development of a training program for end user training prior to going live. Attend all meetings and training sessions conducted by MEDITECH personnel for the clinical modules. Skills required: 3 year Meditech experience with one or more of the following modules is required: EMR, LAB, ITS, PCS, POM, OR, PCI, NUR, EDM, PHA Awareness of how, when and to what extent different hospital departments relate and communicate with one another (e.g. nursing stations to clinical departments, admitting/registration to the clinical departments, the clinical departments to the billing department). Well organized with proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines. | |
